Ideal for capturing high-quality stereo audio, the OM SYSTEM ME-51S is a stereo microphone that plugs into the 3.5mm microphone input of a digital recorder or camera. With a directional, stereo pickup pattern, sensitivity of -40 dB at 1 kHz, and a frequency response range of 100 Hz to 15 kHz, the ME-51S delivers clear, intelligible speech and realistic ambient audio from a wide variety of sound sources. The mic is powered via plug-in power from the recording device, so no battery is required. Additionally, the package includes a 3.3' extension cable with a tie-pin clip, enabling you to discreetly mount the mic on clothing.
